Anna May Wong – 1920s-30s Hollywood film star and sex symbol
So I’ve been a bit lazy in my postings. I just got a free month long Final Cut Pro trial so I’ve been making videos to learn as much as I can before the trial ends. Here is my first one on 1920s-30s Hollywood actress, Anna May Wong. I know you can hear the air condition so I don’t need to be scolded on that. Enjoy. Feel free to give constructive feedback as I’m still learning.
Have you tried iMovie? Everything you’ve done so far in your videos can be done there and it’s easier than Final Cut Pro. If you have a Mac you should already have it (I think it’s pre-installed on all Macs).

I don’t want to use iMOvie because I want the more advanced way. I only have 5 days left of Final Cut Pro, the latest version. What have I not done that is done on FCP but not iMovie? I now feel I’ve wasted my money (on the free FCP trial). 😦

Why do you want a more advanced way? If the end result will be the same, I don’t think it matters how you do it. FCP lets you do things like control the quality at which you import/export video. That’s not even the tip of the iceberg, that’s more like shards of ice from the tip. All the features buried inside professional software like FCP and Photoshop is mind-boggling.
There’s also Final Cut Express, if you haven’t heard of that.

I want to be more educated and skilled. Why settle for basic? My brain wants challenges and growth.
