The Night of the Iguana (1964)

Wow The Night of the Iguana was better than I expected.  Yeah I know it’s a classic directed by John Huston but “hot” films and Tennessee Williams films on top of that, aren’t my thing.  Nevertheless Sue Lyon was a great underage vixen lusting after Richard Burton.  Ava Gardner was amazing.  She was only in her early 40s but looked 50. She looked worn and rough but she still had her figure and managed to be 10x hotter than Sue Lyon.  I had to make a sign of the cross when she was sandwiched between her two young boy toys on the beach. Grayson Hall (of Dark Shadows fame) deserved her Oscar-nomination.

Then married to Eddie Fisher, Elizabeth Taylor accompanied her boyfriend Richard Burton during the shoot in Mexico.
